To reproduce sound, the Valve Index virtual reality helmet has 2 headphones mounted at a short distance from the user’s ears. The front panel has cameras that transmit images from the real world to the display. Along with the Valve Index headset at an affordable price comes a special face pad, which is held on by 4 magnets.
