The Taylor Builder's Edition 652ce 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Natural is the brand's first 12-string guitar to carry the Builder's Edition tag. ! Maple neck, maple back and sides, possibly based on that considered by many to be the most legendary 12-string of all time!
A torrefied Sitka spruce top serves as the soundboard for this Builder's Editon guitar. . The torrefaction process removes moisture, sugar and impurities which remain after the natural drying process. This process essentially ages the piece of wood. , making it more stable in size. Back and sides are made of figured maple which looks fantastic! The history of Guild Maple 12 String cannot be ignored which we have all loved on so many treasured recordings. Maple produces well-balanced bass , crisp highs and melodic midrange perfect for musicality. Added tinkling maple is the perfect complement to a 12-string guitar !
The neck is made of maple, which not only provides full sound but also provides additional stability on the guitar. neck with extra tension. 1 and 7/8" nut width feels full but manageable. The 24 and 7/8" scale length makes the strings feel a little tight which is nice when there are so many of them! West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard with Taylor's Scepter fingerboard pattern.
