The Flux S Smart Direct Drive has all the features which most cyclists will need for off-season training. Its power ceiling , simulated slope and accuracy are lower than more expensive models but it reproduces almost any conditions which we may wish. The maximum lift level is 10% but also on real climbs such as Alpe d'Huez, this is more than enough to get the job done for most riders. 

Flux S also has all the functions that you expect from a smart trainer including ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity to apps from Tacx to such powerful applications as Zwift, Trainer 
Road Sufferfest and Strava. If you don't like social or virtual learning modes Flux S is quite smart to work in a vacuum. When used without a device or training app, Flux S provides a progressive resistance curve corresponding to the effort you expend and simulates driving on a flat road - no additional software or setup required.
