Stems must be durable durable and lightweight and should not put pressure on the handlebars and forks clamped at both ends. Easton takes all of these details into account in its updated EA90 stem. , larger in diameter and finished in a beautiful black anodized finish which is sure to look great on any bike. Besides it includes a built-in mount for Garmin computers providing cleaner lines and better aerodynamics.

The most unique feature of the EA90 is the DST front panel. Distributed stress technology is simple but it works wonders. It distributes clamping forces better and more evenly over a larger area making it ideal for lightweight aluminum and carbon handlebars. On traditional stems, the clamp itself can create stress on its edges and tightening the bolts increases this stress. The EA90 features a carefully designed faceplate and stem notch as well as a four bolt arrangement which allows you to better distribute loads over a wider area and reduce surges in steering effort.

The stem is made from aluminum tubing and 3D forged for the perfect combination of strength and weight. It comes with two different lift angles: 0 and +/- 7 degrees and the steering gear clamp is secured with two opposing bolts to minimize stress on the steering tube. It uses a 31 diameter handlebar clamp 8mm and it is compatible with 1-1/8" diameter head tubes. Available in lengths from 70 to 120 mm in 10 mm increments.
