With five strategically placed EPS foam inserts, we were able to customize higher and lower density foam depending on where it is configured inside the helmet allowing us to maintain a light weight while managing energy. Softer foam allows for more energy absorption on impact transferring less energy to the rider. Dissident 2 also provides added confidence with the Mips Evolve Solution which helps redirect rotational motion away from the head. In this Evolve solution we used fabric pocket attachments inside to reduce squeaking.
