The original Silver Sky was developed in collaboration with John Mayer to enhance familiar guitar aesthetics with PRS Guitars' world-renowned innovation. This collaboration now extends to the SE range to create a more affordable Silver Sky version – with the same PRS quality ! SE Silver Sky has a lightweight poplar body equipped with three 635JM "S" pickups which provide all glass treble and rounded low end which you would expect from a classic three-coil configuration. While the original Silver Sky retained the original 7 , 25-inch radius of your inspiration SE Silver Sky maple/rosewood neck offers a slightly upgraded 8 5" radius that feels vintage but brings a dose of modern playability. Known that since its inception, PRS has been pushing the boundaries of guitar design. Silver Sky SE combines this philosophy with a deep respect for tradition resulting in a high-performance, vintage-style model of the highest caliber at an affordable price!
