Philips 901-VP electronic lock uses vein pattern recognition technology to unlock.
Principle of finger vein identification consists of absorbing infrared radiation through the characteristics of flowing blood to obtain the texture of the vein and achieve accurate identification. Because the veins are hidden under the skin of the fingers , they are difficult to reproduce which means to fake it. This identification method is well suited for children and the elderly even if their fingers are dry cracked or flaky.
Philips DDL901-VP-9HW connects to your home Wi-Fi network. This way you can have full control through the app on your phone. It is possible to send temporary codes to the visitor , view the history of lock openings by time and date or go on a video call.
A smart motion sensor informs the owner with a message with a video recording if there is a suspicious speaker within 3 meters outside the door.
Philips DDL901-VP is equipped with a fully automatic mechanism. After successfully checking the veins of the finger , or password, the locking mechanism is automatically retracted and the door opens. The door can be easily opened from the inside by touching the infrared sensor on the handle.  
After closing the door, no additional operations are required and the lock body automatically extends the bolt to complete locking. If the door is not locked The smart lock will sound an alert when the door is not locked.
