Ibanez have made some great updates to their very diverse catalog of basses but the SRMS800 Bass Workshop multi-scale electric bass is not your typical Ibanez bass. The cozy SR cabinet with poplar/walnut burl top and mahogany body conveys warm tones and the multi-scale design ensures perfect tension and amazing playability. Ibanez SRMS800 features two Bartolini BH2 pickups that allow you to shape the sound just like that as you want. The Ibanez SRMS800 was designed for recording and touring musicians with its sophisticated features delivering great sound and playability for a lifetime.

Recognized SR feel with quality tone
Known for exceptional comfort and soft curves. and lungs SR series basses are sought after by many bassists. The poplar/walnut burl top and mahogany body provide precise sound with bright highs and rounded lows. Some basses struggle with string crosstalk but Ibanez solved this problem with the MR5S bridge. Designed for maximum vibration transfer without interference from other strings , this insulated design fits tightly to the body providing excellent resonance.

Multiscale Construction

This trend of multi-scale designs has been around for the past few years and is constantly gaining momentum.. Multi-scale design has a longer scale on the bass side of the neck and a shorter scale on the treble side resulting in superior intonation and more consistent tension. This design provides a more lively tone which can rival other basses.
