Polyurethane “scales” are introduced into the flexible, wear-resistant Lowa Reptex upper which imitate the protective skin of a reptile thereby replacing traditional heavy rubber and the Vibram alp trac SL sole is equipped with Litebase technology which significantly reduces the weight and thickness of the sole without affecting its grip or wear resistance.
