In December 2017, KAWS released a new version of their classic companion character called "Little Lies". The figure depicts a companion hunched over in a disappointing pose with a long nose reminiscent of Pinocchio. This figurine unique from Open Edition Companions included the character's overalls and was not released in a ripped-off version. This Small Lie Companion in Gray features various shades of beige and brown with black accents used in KAWS signature eye and hand designs. The Little False Companion originally debuted as a 30-foot-tall statue made from African hardwood at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the United Kingdom , and is now available in apartment-friendly sizes.
