KAWS - artist from Brooklyn whose work masterfully synthesizes the worlds of art and design. KAWS often takes inspiration from and appropriates animation from pop culture , forming a unique artistic vocabulary which covers a wide range of means of expression. Currently known for his large-scale sculptures and hard-edged paintings emphasizing line and color.
