Asymmetrical Jumbo body with solid Sitka spruce top Heat Aged

Jon Gomm Signature Design for Finger Style starts with an asymmetrical jumbo body shape which provides more surface area for tapping and focused low-frequency response for extra punch. Made from solid heat-aged Sitka spruce with pau-ferro back and sides JGM5 is exceptionally responsive wide dynamic range and massive projection. It also features a top-loading Macassar ebony bridge for quick string changes and enhanced percussive tone. Extended scale neck optimized for low tuning.

To solve this problem Jon Gomm JGM5 has a 25-3/4" scale length which helps keep the guitar at the correct tension in a variety of alternative tunings.
