It has a neck with 13 frets giving it an excellent combination of overtone complexity and punchy fundamental tone while reducing string tension. Said 13-fret neck features a new shape called Low Profile Velocity and plays like Crisco-coated zipper. You can see in the photos that the heel of the neck is also missing allowing unprecedented access to the upper frets. Finally he has an offset body which improves ergonomics and looks very cool!
