We are proud to present the new Fender Custom Shop 1965 Stratocaster limited edition! Closet Classic's clean weathering on a stunning Ice Blue Metallic finish gives this stylish instrument an heirloom feel. which was carefully preserved for decades. This is the second guitar from the special edition '65 Strats. which we ordered, the second one is 3-Tone Sunburst. Ice Blue Metallic maybe not as iconic a color as Sunburst but it has a great and unique atmosphere which will definitely attract attention like you so does your audience. This guitar is equipped with Fat 60s pickups which perfectly perform the typical “60s Strat” thing but wound a little hotter for extra punch. What makes this guitar special in terms of tone? , so this is the "Fat 50s 1/2 Blend" wiring, which not only acts like a Treble Bleed maintaining a constant tone when operating the volume knob but the second tone knob is a blend pot instead which allows you to get pickup combinations like this like Neck and Bridge (or basically Neck with a little bridge!) usually not available on a regular Strat. Another thing you'll quickly notice This is a gorgeous flame maple neck. They polished it up a bit so that it becomes silky smooth and does not have that stickiness which sometimes occurs in shiny vultures. It really looks like a guitar neck , treated with nitro which was played regularly for 15-20 years. This 1965 Stratocaster adorned with luxurious details such as a 3A flame maple neck gold hardware and grooved overlay stands out among the rest.
