There are a few downsides to gravel racing and adventure racing. but we're willing to bet that the biggest one is the choice between road and mountain components when building our drop bar dirt bikes. Due to chain impact from behind and hoods which are not designed for rough terrain in front things can get scary in the cockpit. But with Shimano's release of its GRX gravel groupset, both of these issues have faded into the background.. Shimano GRX ST -RX810 STI derailleur and disc brake caliper offer you derailleurs specially tuned for gravel driving with a completely new hood design with a steeper slope ensuring safety in difficult conditions and a changed pivot point on the lever which makes pressing the brake even more confident.

Shimano has spent the last two years developing the new GRX group specially designed for driving on dirt roads and single-track roads on drop-beam vehicles and along the way they took a lot of feedback from dedicated gravel racers and enthusiasts into account. The RX810 mechanical derailleurs are very similar in design to Shimano's current road derailleurs. , offering the same easy gear shifting which racers know and love so well. The changes include an improved lever shape , increasing comfort when driving on mixed terrain and also in the textured anti-slip surface of the levers which improves grip and control when braking. The RX810 hydraulic calipers are essentially the same as Shimano's flat mount road calipers, delivering powerful Servo braking performance
Wave, Ice Tech heat dissipating brake pads and are also easy to set up and maintain thanks to One-Way Bleeding technology.
