One of the most legendary Gibsons of all time The J-185 was originally released in 1951. It was only slightly smaller compared to the larger SJ-200 , J-185. similar appointments were used Sitka spruce and maple for its construction. This Custom Historic 1952 J-185 features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and a stunning flame maple back and sides. This is a rare model with classic J-185 details including the iconic Maltese crosses inlaid with mother of pearl on a bridge with open slots but very much in demand by artists and performers all over the world.
