In addition to 22 gears, the Force 22 GXP crankset relies heavily on SRAM Red technology providing greater precision and power than before. SRAM covers the cranks with unidirectional carbon fibers. When placed parallel to each other, the strength of carbon fiber is maximized , so that the loads act along the axis of the fibers. This also means that the amount of carbon used can be reduced, which in turn means greater weight savings. Unidirectional carbon reduces flexibility which means that every pedal stroke matters more. Cross with which it is connected is a forged alloy including a spindle on the non-drive side. SRAM decided to use a 130mm spider , which means that you can use it with most aftermarket sprockets. However, we went further than the standard: the mounting bolt was built into the rear of the connecting rod. This reduces deflection and ensures that forward gears do not skip.

Exogram chainstays flow from the SRAM Red group. SRAM uses a "True 22" X Glide R sprocket calibration which guarantees no missed switches. They are made from 5mm thick 7075-T6 aluminum and are specifically designed for the 11-speed system with optimized shift profiles and rigidity.
