Floyd Rose FRTX02000 FRX Top Mount Tremolo, Black

Floyd Rose continues its legacy of innovation with the all-new FRX surface mount tremolo system for Les Paul guitars , SG and Flying V. FRX is a direct replacement for the Tune-O-Matic bridge system and locking bar which uses existing holes for mounting studs and does not require any gasket. The locking nut attaches behind your guitar's existing nut in place of the truss rod cover.

The FRX lock nut has mounting holes on the left and right; To secure the threshold you only need to install two screws.

*NOTE: On some Les Pauls, especially LP Customs The neck angle is not sufficient for to allow the FRX to operate without minor modifications to the chassis. . The receiving portion of the spring tension transfer rod on the base plate extends slightly below the bridge and can rest on the housing unless a tiny channel is laid.

Please Check the bridge dimensions before purchasing or attempting installation. Some TOM style bridges have slight differences in size.

*Note. If you plan to use the bridge in full floating mode We strongly recommend leaving the nylon tremolo support in place. This part helps compensate for differences in leverage point on the FRX and the guitar's many settings.
