Floyd Rose FRX Top Mount Tremolo Chrome - FRTX01000

Floyd Rose continues its legacy of innovation with the all-new FRX surface mount tremolo system for Les Paul guitars SG and Flying V. FRX is a direct replacement for the Tune-O-Matic bridge system and locking bar which uses existing mounting stud holes and does not require any gasket. The locking nut attaches behind your guitar's existing nut in place of the truss rod cover.

The FRX lock nut has mounting holes on the left and right; To secure the nut, you only need to install two screws.

*NOTE. On some Les Paul models, especially LP Customs The angle of the neck is not sufficient for to allow the FRX to operate without minor modifications to the chassis. The receiving portion of the spring tension transmission rod on the base plate extends slightly below the bridge and can rest on the housing unless a tiny channel is laid.

Please Check the bridge dimensions before purchasing or attempting installation. Some TOM bridges have slight differences in size.

*Note. If you plan to use the bridge in full floating mode We strongly recommend leaving the nylon tremolo support in place. This part helps compensate for differences in the fulcrum on the FRX and many guitar settings.
