Parameters
Three brass bridge saddles, screws springs and hex key. A complete kit with instructions for setting up intonation on your body. You better believe that I put them on my No
Caster in a minute in New York. Installation is a bit tricky but these suction cups work better than any other "compensated" saddles that I have ever tried. Be very careful unpacking this kit; there are three small flat washers which you will lose if you are careless. Insert the movable part of the seat into the groove on the solid base of the seat. Then place the flat washer on the black machine screw. Then align the threaded portion of the black machine screw with the female threads of the brass sliding section. Insert the hex key into the small hole at the top of the moving section until it engages the head of the mounting screw underneath. Then carefully turn the key clockwise until the moving part is locked in place by the tightened screw. Makes it easy. Low E strings "G" and "B" rest on the solid base of the bridge saddle. Letters "A" "D" and high "E" rest on the movable part of the saddle. Firstly set the intonation of the low E strings G and B on hard areas. Then adjust the intonation of the A, D and high E strings resting on movable sections. To adjust the intonation of three strings on solid saddles , use the 3 adjustment screws on the back of the bridge plate as usual for a vintage instrument. Telecaster guitar. To adjust the intonation on the moving sections first check the initial intonation using a tuner. She must be close because there is some offset built into the movable section of the saddle. Check in which direction and approximately how much you want to move the section. You may need to repeat the procedure several times before intonation is established since adjusting the moving section is a little more complicated than solid saddles. Before moving the section, loosen the string tension slightly to allow easier movement. Start adjustment inserting the hex key to 0 050 inch into the small hole at the top of the saddle. Turn the key until you feel it that it fits into the recess of the hexagon. Turn the key counterclockwise to loosen the saddle. Leave the wrench on so you can use it as a pen. Move the section forward or backward to approximately the same location which you defined in the previous step. Then tighten the locking screw again turning it clockwise. Now tune the string again to pitch and check the intonation again using the tuner. If intonation is still missing, repeat the procedure, re-evaluating how far the partition needs to be moved. After that once the intonation is set, you won't need to change it unless you make any major changes to the tuning or string thickness. Brand new. Original Fender 0992099000. UPC 885978578979. Please note Bridge plate, pickup and tele are not included!
