Thanks to two 5. 25" BDSS drivers and 1" aluminum dome tweeter Movie dialogues and music are reproduced perfectly. Perfectly matched with Demand floor-standing and bookshelf speakers D5c forms a well-coordinated ensemble with them.

Wide and accurate soundstage

The right tweeters must excel in three ways: they must be stiff. , light and well damped to minimize the effect of the dome material on high frequency reproduction. Aluminum is naturally rigid and lightweight satisfying the first two requirements. To achieve the third property, Definitive Technology tweeters undergo an annealing (heat treatment) process to give the desired shape and relieve stress in the material , thereby providing the necessary damping. Besides The silk suspension further emphasizes the benefits of the soft dome.
