"Arkham Horror. Third Edition" - a new edition of the world-famous cooperative adventure based on the crazy myths of Lovecraft. Creepy creatures that usually live outside of our time and space making their way into our world. So mystical events await you again encounters with the supernatural, fights with monsters, travel to other worlds confrontation with the Ancients and other devilry! The game itself has been greatly transformed and is an improved and redesigned version of the game with new mechanics. The first thing that will catch your eye is the composite modular field which makes the game more compact more varied and more convenient to use. The field consists of district and street tiles that connect different locations. The game now offers four scenarios each with their own Ancient and their own playing field. You can challenge Cthulhu Azathoth, Hastur and Shub-Niggurath whose power in the material world will increase as the game progresses and due to the failures of the detectives. You still need to collect clues to win close the gates and destroy monsters but now each scenario offers its own victory conditions which are initially unknown to players. The scripts are arranged like this that each adventure will be different from the previous one. Every detective for whom you have to play, is unique, has its own history motive and set of characteristics as the main ones (endurance and intelligence) and secondary ones (observation, strength, will, etc.). By the way unlike the previous version here you can choose the appropriate starting equipment yourself.
