The Crusades drafted King Richard the Lionheart to war in the Middle East. Returning home to England, John Lackland tries to consolidate his power recruiting the Sheriff of Nottingham to his side. They are confronted by Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men.. What remains of Richard's Kingdom when will the crusades end? In "Richard the Lionheart" players enter into an alliance with either King Richard either with John Lackland, traveling through England trying to earn prestige points and influence the Crusades from afar. At the end of the game Richard will return to that what's left of his kingdom if at all it will come back. Two playing fields: players travel across Britain on one field gaining prestige for your deeds and tracing the progress of the Crusades on the Second Field. Ten detailed miniature figures represent the characters supporting each side of the conflict.
