Offering a unique new practical interface for creative lighting control The ADJ WMX1 is a powerful and compact standalone DMX controller. Designed to create impressive light shows on the fly without a computer it features an intuitive workflow powerful internal effects engine and tactile controls that allow anyone to easily control a DMX lighting rig consisting of several types of devices. Setting up the WMX1 is quick and easy , and the menu interface is 4 3" TFT capacitive touch screen makes it easy to select address and group devices. The controller contains more than 3500 device profiles over 15,000 of which are available through the supporting WTOOLS app. WMX1 also has a Fixture Builder for creating custom profiles or for use with older or obscure fixtures as well as the Fixture Calibration tool, which allows you to limit the area covered by moving heads. Once configured, the system allows you to independently control eight groups of devices (four of which are accessible using the Shift key) , with 37 backlit silicone buttons and four rotary encoders allowing you to easily run three different effect engines (Color Move and Beam). and is configured separately for each group. The controller also has separate buttons for the strobe light , curtains , speed blackout and smoke. The WMX1 features four DMX universes and four output connectors (two 5-pin and two 3-pin) with the ability to map any universe to any output allowing the device to also serve as a DMX splitter. By default, the system supports a single DMX universe (output through all four connectors) and three additional universes are available as updates through the WTOOLS app. It also features a built-in microphone and 3 line input jack 5 mm for automatic BPM detection, as well as a button which allows you to "push" the BPM manually.
