The Paramount PS-220E combines cutting-edge craftsmanship with a vintage finish offering the best of both worlds. Model PS-220E made from solid spruce or mahogany combined with a solid mahogany back and sides has an offset cross-shaped profile which has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. Pickup , designed by Fender and Fishman enhances the articulated tone of the salon hull shape while the controls are mounted in the sound hole maintain vintage aesthetics. Body-sensitive pickup under the top enhances soundboard vibrations which can then be mixed with the under saddle sensor. Cosmetics include mother-of-pearl inlays on the fretboard in the shape of a snowflake mother-of-pearl finish, rosette back placket and overlay in black or tiger stripes. The PS-220E also features an ovancol bridge and 14-fret neck , thin mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle and also comes with a hard case.
