The Paramount PO-220E combines cutting-edge craftsmanship with a vintage finish offering the best of both worlds. Model PO-220E made from solid spruce or mahogany combined with solid mahogany back and sides has an offset X-shaped brace profile which has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. Pickup , developed by Fender and Fishman, enhances the warm midrange-focused tone of the new orchestral body shape of the PO-220E while the controls are mounted on the sound hole maintain vintage aesthetics. Body-sensitive pickup under the top enhances soundboard vibrations which can then be mixed with an under-saddle Sonicore pickup.

Updated appearance includes mother-of-pearl inlays on the fretboard in the shape of a snowflake mother-of-pearl edging, rosette and back strap as well as a black or brindle striped pickguard. The PO-220E also features an ovancol bridge and pickguard , fine tapered mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle and also comes in a hard case.
