Review of American DJ Starburst

Starburst from American DJ is a spinning sphere effect with ultra-sharp multi-color beams which respond to sound or can be controlled using DMX. The light source consists of five 15 W HEX LEDs emitting red, green, blue, white, amber and ultraviolet colors which when mixed give a wider palette of colors than was possible before.

34 rays. provide 1° beam angle and 360° coverage. Three operating modes include autostart , sound activation and DMX control with 13 channels. Besides Starburst can be controlled using the optional UC3 wireless remote control. Low power consumption of 55 W allows up to 20 devices to be daisy-chained on a single 120 V circuit. Starburst comes with a hanging bracket and a standard IEC power cable.
