ELAC Varro Premium series subwoofers: maximum quality starts from the design
The ELAC auto-calibration system allows you to forget about problems with the location of the speakers. The new ELAC Premium subwoofer series combines unrivaled power and sound with a sleek, modern design. These affordable speakers deliver stunning performance. Premium models include such modern equipment as the BASH amplifier app control and revolutionary ELAC auto-calibration system. They will be an ideal solution for a home theater or Hi-Fi system.
Specially designed driver
Pre-impregnated paper cone with 2-inch voice coil provides increased power and improved heat transfer helping to increase the output sound pressure level. New long-throw LF drivers are equipped with lightweight paper diffusers specially treated to increase rigidity and reduce the effects of temperature and humidity fluctuations. All three Premium Series models feature woofers with large two-inch voice coils.
Custom BASH amplifier
All seven Varro models feature BASH technology. Amplifiers specially tuned for use in ELAC subwoofers with an input signal voltage monitoring system are able to withstand its maximum range. , providing all the necessary as well as additional power over the entire operating range of the woofers.
Auto-calibration and control from the application
Finding a place for a subwoofer can be difficult. They are often installed in corners or next to sofas. , which leads to reflections peaks and valleys in the frequency response. The ELAC auto-calibration system helps reduce the influence of the room on the sound by measuring the signal in the near field and comparing it with data for the far field (listening location). This allows the owner to place the subwoofer there where it meets all the requirements. All seven Varro models are compatible with the ELAC Sub Control 3 app. 0 and are equipped with an auto-calibration system to adjust the sound taking into account the characteristics of the room.
