Transition photochromic technology allows you to automatically and smoothly change from clear to dark depending on sunlight. It works like this: Photochromic dyes built into the visor react to ultraviolet light and change darkness levels to match the sun's rays. As the ULTRAVS decreases, a chemical reaction occurs caused by ambient heat converting activated photochromic molecules into their original form clear form. The visor then disappears again.
