Hand Tool S2 Vela based on the playability and skill of PRS, ideal for players who demand the quality and reliability of PRS build combined with a fresh aesthetic. Vela is the first incarnation of the PRS offset model which is both elegant and daring. Features a PRS-designed DS-01 humbucker in the treble position and a Type-D Singlecoil in the bass position Vela has a bright, punchy sound which sounds great when plugged into a pedalboard or straight into an amp. Depressing the coil on the tone control allows the DS-01 pickup to split into single coils and explore a whole new range of tones. PRS plate bridge contains two brass saddles specially designed for excellent sustain and perfect intonation so both the rhythm and the solo sound great, regardless of where you are on the fretboard.
