Ball Repair Tool: Ball Repair Made Easy The Ball Repair Tool consists of a valve puller and a valve clamp. To remove the valve, a long mandrel is inserted deep into the valve hole. and then pulled out. The replacement valve is pressed onto the ball using a short mandrel. A long spike can help fix this. After making sure that the valve is installed correctly inflate the ball according to the manufacturer's instructions and bounce it on the ground approximately eight to ten times to avoid imbalance.
