Waterproofness of fabric
Waterproofness of fabric is achieved through a coating or membrane and is measured in mm of water column. The higher the value the more impenetrable the fabric is.
This jacket is made of waterproof coating component (JIS 1092 standard) which can withstand a pressure of 5000 mm of water column (equivalent to the pressure of a 5-meter column of water) before washing.

Fabric air permeability
The air permeability of a fabric is determined based on its vapor permeability (RET , Resistance to Evaporative Transfer) tested in accordance with ISO 11092 standard. The higher the permeability the less resistance the fabric has to water vapor formed during physical activity: RET <9
: high breathability.
RET < 12: very breathable.
RET < 20: breathable.
RET > 20: little or no breathability.

Textile dyeing uses a lot of water and dye baths also produce large amounts of polluted wastewater. To reduce this phenomenon, we use mass dyeing in which color pigments are added during the production of yarn.

How to keep rain pants waterproof?
To ensure that the water-repellent impregnation lasts for a long time it should be updated regularly.
We recommend reactivating the waterproofing after three washes (thorough rinsing required) or after approximately ten uses in the rain.
Restore water-repellent properties with heat:
- Place in the dryer for 15 minutes (Synthetic program);
- Use a hair dryer at a distance of 20 cm and 2 passes;
- or 2 passes with an iron at low temperature without steam function.

Choosing raincoats depending on the level of physical activity
When you exercise, you sweat to varying degrees depending on the intensity and duration of the effort.. If the material of your clothing is not breathable enough water vapor will condense inside the pants.
It makes him wet from the inside even if there is no rain at all.
That's why rain pants must be adapted to the corresponding efforts. This product is suitable for a two-hour hike at a speed of no more than 5 km/h.

Recommended additional product
So that you are completely protected from wind and rain For additional protection, we recommend men's rain jackets with short or long zippers. These jackets are designed according to our eco-design guidelines: depending on the color, we use recycled fibers or mass dyeing to reduce water consumption.

Storage tip
Always allow waterproof clothing to dry completely before storing.

Limitation of use
