The Gibson J-35 30s Faded pays homage to the classic round-shoulder dreadnought design of the 1930s originally created as an economical alternative to the more expensive guitars in this line. This '30s Faded model boasts a solid Sitka spruce top , as well as the back and sides are made of solid mahogany which provides a balanced output across the entire tonal spectrum. Finish: matte nitro varnish which allows the instrument to feel like an old friend without any actual wear or aging. Nitrocellulose varnish is a traditional finish for musical instruments. because it can protect the instrument without disturbing the acoustic properties of wood.

The solid mahogany neck has a round neck profile with a 12" radius unbound rosewood fingerboard. with simple MOP dot inserts. Among other decorations vintage inspired - flame stripe overlay rectangular bridge and open-action Grover tuners.

Vintage meets modern with LR Baggs VTC pickup system which is controlled by discrete volume and tone controls in the sound hole. A hard case is included, of course. Handmade in Bozeman state of Montana.
