Les Paul with a light touch The Epiphone Les Paul Muse collection offers both beginners and for experienced guitarists, a lightweight Les Paul body with a camera which is easier to hold thanks to the contoured belly scarf and thin headband. Muse Les Pauls are crafted from richly toned okoume wood have a maple cap and single-ply white binding. Okoume's hand-tuned neck features a Custom "C" profile with an Indian laurel fingerboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoidal inlays 24.75" scale length, medium frets and narrow Graphtech 1 saddle 63 inches. Alnico Classic PRO Humbuckers The Les Paul Muse collection features Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers which are equipped with Alnico-V magnets for more power than traditional humbuckers such as Pro
Bucker. Alnico Classic PRO also has a base and cover made of 18% nickel silver the same alloy that Gibson used at the Kalamazoo plant when the humbucker was first invented. The use of nickel silver reduces the occurrence of eddy currents due to low conductivity and provides a more transparent and clear output. Controls include a standard 3-way toggle switch and standard Les Paul volume and tone for each pickup with clear speed knobs with white numbers. Both pickups also offer push-pull split-coil functionality activated on each volume control to turn a humbucker into a single coil pickup for even more tonal possibilities as well as an input/output phase switch on the neck tone control. Volume controls also now feature a standard treble boost circuit to maintain sound clarity at lower volumes.
