Modern Vintage
The original Epiphone Embassy was introduced in 1963, the same year like the legendary Thunderbird and became Epiphone's first solid body bass guitar. The Embassy PRO bass combines the best features of classic Embassy models with some key design improvements. The mahogany body now has a slightly longer top horn for excellent balance and the set-in mahogany neck features a 2-way adjustable truss rod for perfect tuning. The neck has a Slim
TaperTM-D profile from the 1960s Pau Ferro fingerboard with mother-of-pearl “Dot” inlays, 34" scale length 12" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets. Antique Ivory color comes with black and white overlay while the Dark Cherry and Ebony colors have a white and black overlay. The classic Epiphone Sloped Dove headstock features a '60s-era mother-of-pearl "Epiphone" logo as well as a commemorative "2017" logo on the back of the headstock.
