Starting with a mahogany body with a maple top and AAA figured maple veneer The guitar has that authentic Les Paul feel in the hand which is enhanced by a 1959 hand-rolled mahogany neck. However, the true Gibson experience doesn't end there. Epiphone's 1959 Les Paul Standard features two Gibson Burst humbucker pickups
Bucker, which reproduce all the refined tones and tonal punch that you would expect from a Les Paul. Intonation remains consistent and accurate thanks to the Epiphone Lock bridge
Tone ABR-1 and Stop Bar tailpiece. Visually Epiphone's 1959 Les Paul Standard stuns with vibrant, explosive finish which is complemented only by an Indian laurel overlay with trapezoidal inlays.
