KEF Q250C is a compact 2-way center channel speaker of the popular KEF Q series for small and medium-sized rooms

Size is vital when selecting center channels The Q250C is therefore the ideal partner for the smaller Q series models. Q250C center channel speaker equipped with proprietary Uni-Q driver array creates precise and engaging dialogue.

KEF Q250C boasts a 130 mm Uni-Q driver and a pair of woofers of the same diameter: all drivers with aluminum cones what gives them strength overload resistance and good frequency response: 68 Hz – 28 kHz (±3 dB), taking into account the fact that the body is closed without bass reflex.

KEF Uni-Q proprietary module

KEF Uni-Q proprietary module - improved , compared to previous models, 11th generation driver responsible for clean and accurate reproduction. This technology provides a wide sound distribution pattern so you get the same sound anywhere in the room. The module also provides uncolored sound.

New damped tweeter

The chisel-shaped rubber damper provides more gentle damping of stray sound waves from the rear of the tweeter. It reduces harshness in the lower part of the upper register and provides detail and naturalness in high frequencies..

New mid/bass driver

The KEF Q series featured a new long-throw woofer improved suspension and new membrane design.

The midrange/bass driver has a new cone structure. Stiffer material controls edge frequency resonances better reducing parasitic peaks to -10 dB compared to the old improving intelligibility in the upper midrange.

New large surround provides longer driver throw for less distortion at higher volumes and improved edge behavior.

Improved centering washer. Rigidity optimized for less distortion which allows you to move more and have better control. Provides deep and controlled bass ideally paired with HF in the Uni-Q array

New ABR (passive bass radiator)

New larger surround provides more travel for greater LF radiator efficiency. The new rear rubber suspension, compared to fabric suspensions, more delicately limits the radiator membrane stroke increasing maximum SPL without problems with overtones and noise

In the center channel, the Uni-Q module is isolated in a closed box as a result, we obtained more controlled movement of the midrange membrane and reduced distortion.

A new crossover was used in the center channel speakers. New high-quality capacitors and coils improve midrange clarity and provide more natural separation between midrange and bass..

Design which does not become outdated

Q-series speaker systems are made in a minimalist design which does not become obsolete. The speakers are finished in an attractive satin finish and are available in basic colors. The speakers have a seamless front panel joint and magnetic grills (purchased separately).
