The HTM71 S3 3-way center speaker system features a carbon dome tweeter , housed in a separate building at the top as well as an all-new FST midrange driver with a Continuum cone with a diameter of 130 mm (5 inches) complete with bionic surround which is especially important for clarity and clarity of dialogues. It could be an ideal partner for home theaters based on the 705 S3 models 703 S3 and 702 S3.

Carbon fiber dome tweeters are specially designed for the 700 series. Providing a dramatic improvement over the aluminum dual dome tweeter , they increase the frequency of the first resonance to 47 kHz providing high accuracy and detail of the sound image. Longer load tube results in an even freer, more open sound at high frequencies. The carefully decoupled mechanical body is milled from a single block of aluminum to better withstand resonances.
