Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid based on polyalkylene glycol ether with a high boiling point and specially selected additives protecting the brake system from corrosion and steam bubbles. Castrol DOT 4 brake fluid has been developed to to have a higher boiling point when wet than conventional glycol ether based brake fluids. It can be used in all brake systems and is compatible with other DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids. To benefit from the full performance of Castrol DOT 4 brake fluid We recommend not mixing the product with other brake fluids. Not suitable for systems where mineral hydraulic fluid is indicated.
