Go Anywhere Analog: This was the idea for a great palm-sized, battery-powered analog synthesizer which Korg called a monotron. Now two new brothers and sisters have joined the powerful and cheerful monotron. Each is played from a ribbon controller keyboard with new features added. The monotron is easy to control and use (5 knobs and 1 switch) alive and well offering hours of enjoyment and learning of music.

Offering two oscillators monotron DUO adds an extra dimension delivering even more extreme sound. Tune oscillators in unison for rich thick analogue tone. Tune them at intervals for classic solo sounds and create new effects. X-MOD (cross modulation) circuit taken from Korg's classic Mono/Poly circuit can add a soft or harsh edge to the overall sound; All from rich vibrato to extreme metal sounds reminiscent of an FM synthesizer. The monotron DUO ribbon controller keyboard now features the familiar Scale function used in KAOSSILATOR. You can use this button to select one of four scales: Chromatic major, minor or off.
