Model PD-220E made from solid spruce or mahogany combined with solid mahogany back and sides has an offset cross-shaped profile which has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. Brand new Sonitone Plus pickup , developed by Fender and Fishman, enhances the full balanced tone of the PD-220E dreadnought body, while the controls mounted on sound hole maintain vintage aesthetics.
